The “OKINAWA SUITS” project, which creates stylish suits from unwanted Kariyushi Wear, will hold a collaborative event with popular band Kariyushi 58’s Shingo Maekawa at Sanei Urasoe West Coast Parco City in Urasoe City on Tuesday, the 23rd, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
During the event, Maekawa will walk through the mall while performing a mini-live show. There will also be a talk show with Kenichiro Koyama, owner of “Yanbaru Hostel.” The talk show will reveal the two men’s thoughts on the project and the background of the suit development.
Until the same day, an event is also running where bringing Kariyushi wear to the project’s store on the 2nd floor of Parco City will get you a ¥500 San-A gift certificate in exchange.
A project representative called out, “Please bring in any Kariyushi wear you no longer wear at home.”
